Hello, all.

I thought I should give you a warning:

I have just completed sprinkling AdSense all over my site. Actually it is already making money!

All my pages has been through the Analyse It! function, and were absolutely optimized for search engines. But when I built in the AdSense script (with SBI!), I thought I should analyze again. I was halfway through my pages before I thought of it Evil or Very Mad

Guess what happened? From most of my pages I got the message "Your keyword does not appear in the first 90.....". So I had to edit the AdSense script in after the first sentence on each page. Guess what? New message: "Your keyword does not appear often enough on the BODY....."

Appareantly this happens: The AdSense script counts as words in the start of the page body, and it also reduces the page's keyword density.

So be sure to analyze each page after you put in your AdSense script.

Thought you'd like to know.

Hi, DbD, I had the exact same experience when I put AdSense on my site. So I placed the AdSense code after the first full paragraph on each of the pages I have it on, which also seemed to work. Glad you're already raking in the cash! Very Happy

Yes, with SBi, you do want to be careful and put the code in after the first paragraph, or at least the first couple of sentences. I think this was covered in another thread, but I'm not searching Wink
