Hi. I use to use social bookmarking as well. One bit of advice I could give would be to NOT use personal sales pages to bookmark. I had my website banned when I made a sales page within my blog and bookmarked it. people might confuse this as spam or promotional purposes. Digg is good for getting really high rankings. Don't focus on making first page with Digg. The competition is so fierce and unfair. Your only goal is to get a backlink from then. ALSO, use socialmarker.com to bookmark your pages. They have a really good list. Try to use low comeptition long tail keywrods in the title and the tags. Also, dont bookmark or gain more than 35 backlinks per day. Google might take this as you are spamming and penalize or even ban your site!

I think you can use all site pages for bookmarking with rotation but slowly and regularly.Social bookmarking sites are a great way to promote your blog,articles of interest and websites.

Bookmarking your site is very easy. For sites like Digg..After you have singed up, go to the profile page. Look for the "submit Link" button. There you can post your link and other details to bookmark your site. On other site just look for the "Submit Story" or "add Link" Button to add your bookmark.

Changing the anchor text and using different keywords and linking to other pages it a great way to keep it fresh and updated.Social bookmarking sites are helps easy to index sites and increase the more traffic.Digg and others have their type.

I think instead of going for each, and every, Social Bookmarking website - we must go for only the best Social Bookmarking website for best results.

And yes, you have to follow other users, and share their stories further, in order to attract their attention.

In addition to this, you must remember the basic rule for effective Social Bookmarking - share only useful, original and interesting posts..
