I love GoDaddy and would recommend it to everyone. Great service, prices, packages and best of all awesome customer service opposed to those robot type representatives at some companies.

This company is willing to help you with anything related to your website and if you haven't checked it out already just take a look at their website.

I agree, GoDaddy provided a great service for me, very easy to use, no problems at all. Thoroughly recommended.

Godaddy has good customer support but their control panel is difficult to use. I wish they had cpanel. They use a java based panel for the file management and that can pose problems with heavy sites.

Ive been using godaddy for a few years (before the superbowl ads and godaddy girls). here is off the top of my head a list of some features good and bad:

non free technical support (no 800 number)
more sales approach oriented
not too great of an FAQ backend
no default wildcard subdomain options
cheap, cheap, cheap prices
great hosting plans
great uptime (except on the really cheap plan)
SQL version options
free updated software (wordpress, geeklog etc)
too much fluff (website tonight is a headache)
control panel is not very advanced
not too great web based email service (POP3?)

all in all, godaddy is really a great company. you need to watch some things though like stats (if you want to get rid of them after your site is gone, you have to do so seperately). i tried switching once, and the company was just awful (very rude, not customer service friendly). i would highly recommend godaddy to anyone with a serious interest in website hosting, but not to those who are seeking a more business and professional and custom need basis.

I have always heard that GoDaddy is a great registrar, but not so much when it comes to hosting. I have in the past used HostGator, but have recnetly gotten a GoDaddy account. I was thinking about a virtual dedicated server and wanted to test their share packages first.

GoDaddy has really great performance numbers for Windows Server 2003. With a long history of demonstrated Windows excellence GoDaddy is a good choice for anyone looking to run FrontPage, MS SQL, Cold Fusion, ASP and other Windows applications.

For domain name registrations, even though GoDaddy is the 100lb gorilla, 1&1 has better prices and performs private registration for free.

Unix hosting business I place in other hands. IMNSHO GoDaddy probably has the "best looking" affiliate ads Smile
