Hello

I am recieving about 60 bookmark / or Direct typing hits per day from my gamerforge site. I am just curious . I cant beleive the site was that popular at one time. The site has gone for 2 months at the minimum without even being developed.

I would have thought the bookmarks would have died off by now , does anyone have any possible suggestions as to why it recieves so many direct typing hits or bookmark hits. I have checked the stats and there all unique ? Just kinda puzzled !

there are bookmark programs that check for stale pages. Do you know if this is actually a user typing the url or just a bookmark-program spider?

I have about 2300 bookmarks and never figured out how toi get the spider to check for stale sites, so when I go do a search in my bookmarks often I'll hite up a stale site--and maybe I hit up one that was stale but someone like you bought and started up again. I'm sure if I still had my pre-1999 bookmarks I'd have even more stale ones! But my collection only dates back to 1999 Laughing
