because i've always got by with using the standard auto responder from my web-host, now I'm going to have to get an external auto-responder.
i use typepad, i need an auto responder, so i was thinking either getresponse or aweber. any preferences? |

I have used both and prefer Aweber. They are top knotch on everything from customer service, easy to use, and they have a high deliverability rate. I use to use both and about 2 years ago went to just Aweber and have never regretted it. _________________ Jeff Schuman

| Definitely Aweber. They are so easy to use and are continuously updating their interface for better usability. |

I have no idea how it takes
4 months to deliver? In my view
any email deliver immediately or
deliver 1-2 days time due to Network
error. Otherwise, pure undelivered..
Is it takes 4 months and deliver...? _________________ Maak D

Just a quick question but what do you recommend as the best quick direct response marketing program? There was a lot of confusion in the threads. I want something cheap but effective. _________________ direct response agency |

Personally, I'd go with Aweber. It's the only one I've used and it is the best for the price. The only problem is that this service, as with all the other "newsletter" systems out there are very rigid in the way they approach things.
I actually found for my [URL deleted - Moderator]slim fit shirts website that they forced the double opt-in on the account. Big deal for me because it meant I was losing 60% of my people who were signing up...
Here is a breakdown of each of the services out there:
Aweber
PROS:
- Unlimited Lists
- Very good deliverability
CONS:
- Confirmation emails take ages to reach client
- Hot on DOUBLE-OPT-IN
- Don't really help you at all
GetResponse
PROS:
- Unlimited Lists
- Some extra features such as video hosting & dedicated solution for bigger clients
CONS:
- Confirmation emails take ages to reach client
- Hot on DOUBLE-OPT-IN
- Don't really help you at all
- Poor deliverability to anyone
Constant Contact
PROS:
- Lots of users (they have revenue of $162,000,00)
CONS:
- Their system is so bad
- Only 1 list
- No autoresponders
- No real support
