Post subject: How To Remove Multiple Ads Quickly

Audri reports that a webmaster removed links from 1000s of pages yesterday. Can anyone tell me how this was done so quickly? Was he using SSIs? I have perhaps 100 pages withAdsense, and removing them manually,should I ever want to, will be a daunting task. Obviously there must be a way of automating this. Can anyone explain?

I'm not a techie, but I understand there are a number of ways to do this, including using server side includes. Ask your webmaster (if you have one). Otherwise, I'm sure the techies on this forum can help.

June, without learning SSI or one of the other ways to generate "dynamic" pages, a large site quickly becomes a total nightmare. I've learned how to write SSI pages but it's not worth it on small sites, in my opinion. It's not easy to do - or I'm retarded, which is a possibility! - but once you've mastered it, the rewards are many. I can alter about 7 pages and change my entire site in moments. Whoever removed the AdSense code on a thousand pages, MUST have done it this way.

Thanks Syndey. I do know how to use SSI. However, the sites that I referred to are SBI sites. I don't think SSIs are possible on those sites so I was wondering if there was another way.
