I hope this recommendation is OK to post.
If anyone is looking for an article writer that produces articles that are 100% original then I would like to recommend Jeff Schuman. Yes the very same Jeff that makes many helpful posts in these forums.

I?ve had three articles from Jeff and I must say that I?ve been please with all of them. Yes they required a little tweaking to get them exactly to my taste but then I?d do the same with articles from Stephen King.
Good product, nicely priced.

Hi Allan,
$9 per 400+ word article. I know that by posting on Rent-a-Coder etc. it is possible to get articles as cheap as $5 but . . .
. . .my experience is that those articles need a lot more work to get them up to scratch.
Jeff takes note of any instructions and requests and produces the article accordingly. I shall be using him often in the near future.

Thanks Larry I appreciate that. I started our Article Writer business to get my 21 year old son going with internet marketing. He is a college student with a double major in Journalism and Psychology at the University Of Northern Colorado.
He writes most of the articles and I jump in if he gets backlogged. He writes 50-100 articles a month so he is making some pretty good money on a part time basis for a college kid. And he is getting much better life long experience than he would get if he delivered pizza's.
Of course I went after the keyword article writer from an SEO point of view and we are now on page one of Google for that so we get business that way as well.
My experience in general though has been that a good sig file and posting in this forum pays off over a period of time. My Adsense income goes up when I post here. So do my newsletter and other list sign-ups.
Anyway thanks again Larry for the kind words and thanks to Allan for offering a great forum!
