Post subject: new to the game and need a map quick!!!!

Hello everyone, let me introduce myself. I am Hayilaa (hay-ee-la), I am looking to start a website with affiliate links but so far the more I research the more confused I get. First I thought general links to about 5 to 7 subjects. But I am not sure if I should do that or get more specific. I have a few ideas as to what to offer but I am totally lost on what website to trust with honorable affiliates. Is this a good way to make 2 to 5 thousand a month in profits? Or should I look else where? Please help!  Any ideas  or thoughts would be good. Thank you |

Hi, Hayilaa, I'm sure more experienced people will pitch in here, but just to adjust your thinking, you will probably need to do more than one site to get to the $5,000 per month range. But that's not a bad thing, and if everything's automated, it shouldn't be too time consuming once things are up and running. It's the site building stage that takes so much time, but after that your time is freed up enough to do it all over again with a new site niche. Hope this helps, and good luck!  |

Yes that definitely helps. I am mostly thinking about what affiliate programs to join more than the task of building the web site. I kind of have an ideas as to what the site will look like, and what I will do to describe the content of my site.
oh yeah, I am also thinking about making my site known. That is a big "what to do" also. |

It is pretty easy to find affiliate listings, but now that I know what I want to focus on where could i find the most reliable and quality affiliate programs? Do any of you have any examples as to where I should go?
These are the ones I know about, but don't know how high the quality is(merchants and their products)?

You could also consider http://www.LifetimeCommissions.com for lifetime affiliate programs and residual income programs where you do the work once and are paid again and again.
