This might not be exactly what ur looking for but this is awesome..

http://www.google.com/translate_t

It's pretty accurate. But I have come across an actual software where users can choose the language but I can't remember where I saw it (It was a service provided by Google)

I just checked the Google translator: Translating "How are you" into German resulted in nonsense. If this thing can't translate a simple phrase like that imagine what happens to more complicated sentences... Wink

I would strongly advice you to NOT use any automated translation software. They may be able to translate words, but they don't "understand" phrases. So what you get out of the translation is something that sounds completely ridiculous to the native reader - and thus totally devalues your website.

I have a Danish website and an English one and initially I simply translated the Danish one to English and every time I'd add content to one, I'd also add to the other.

But then I got tired of it and I also realized that my Danish and my English (i.e. global) visitors don't have the same needs so now I just work on either website when I feel inspired to do so.

Also, you might want to re-consider the pros and cons of targeting one area (in terms of language and culture) rather than two...

Best wishes

Do NOT use an automatic translation tool. 95% of the time what you want to say will be totally lost. DO NOT DO IT!
