you know those high paying keywords on google adword that people pay so much money for? do people actually click on the ad by those keywords?

It will not make more adsense revenue for you. Its always seen that people fails in marketing those products in which they are not interested.
My suggestion is to choose a niche in which you are interested, what you like most, what is your hobby ?
And then make a good content site. Unique content which bring visitors back again to your site.

Yes, they do. But remember that, an ad may not display the keyword. For example, a keyword like "super bowl" may sell high but the ad will look like this " Buy your game tickets at a discount". So the visitor is looking for a game ticket and clicks. You get a high click.The keyword bidding is like saying if you see a page containing so and so, display my ad.
