Hi everyone;

I am kind of new to AdSense (not completely ignorant, though ).
I didn't have any success with AdSense ,yet Crying or Very sad

So I hit the forums to learn from the ones to got the whole picture ( unlike me !)Rolling Eyes
and I have read about things I have never thought about (link building , Submitting Articles,..etc..)
which means hours upon hours of work (and they say AdSense is easy money,AHH)

From what I have read so far I should:

1. Build a website that is optimized for a not too competitive keyword , yet
have enough amount of searchers.
2. Blend AdSense Ads with the continent.
3. Have back links and Submit Articles.
4. What else?????? Anyone???

Not quite. Build a website which is optimized for dozens - or better still hundreds - of keywords like that.

Also, it helps enormously if you publish very useful, high quality content so that other sites will want to link to you.

It seems easy after you've done the work and the money is rolling in. Look forward to that day.

Most Welcome Ally,
Sprinkle some affiliate products on your website where necessary for additional income, but just don't over do it.

Share with us when your site is ready Ally. There's a "Site Review" section on this forum to get some advises.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Spend your time making MFA sites and you will most likely be disappointed.

Adsense is a great program whose original intent was to offer ways for content publishers to monitize their sites where it would be otherwise difficult and to offer publishers more exposure on sites previously unreachable.

Unfortunately the opportunists have turned this into a TWO HEADED BEAST.

If you think about what an MFA site is - a site that advertises ads! The yellow pages advertise ads.

Can you make a solid business plan around a site or suite of sites thats sole revenue model is displaying ads from a company that has already sold the display of the ad and you are only getting a small piece. And you have literally no control over what the percentage is you will earn?

It's some really flawed logic. Sure there will be people making money with MFA sites. And there is the logic that if you build 100 sites that make $1 a day you will make a $100. And that is the most common approach because most people lack the writing skills to create anything of real value.

People want to find sites that have real information validated by some kind of authority. Most MFA sites are nothing more than "click vehicles" which you would think is good for you. But it's not - Google is very good at sorting the "value" out of the traffic you send.

And when you create MFA sites by posting and reposting other peoples work all you are creating is "Digital Litter".

Yes that's my Trademark for the crap MFA sites that everyone seems to be condoning.

Good luck with that. You could spend your time learning a real marketable skill, or building a real business, or just waste your time with MFA and learn the hard way.

Hi quest,
Don't mistaken us. I believe that Juststarted has the same idea as I am..read again the first step and note on the bolded "optimised". Generally, I agreed with what you've just said.

Quote:
1. Build a website that is optimized for a not too competitive keyword , yet

An optimised website is:
-not just duplicate content
-not just static content
-not just keyword spamming content
-not just old content
-not just a boring and meaningless site

But it can be..
-content rich
-fresh and frequently updated content
-supplemented by RSS feed etc.
-filled with original contents
-with a motive to provide information rather than to just advertise
-enriched with pool, survey, games maybe etc.

It's LIVE.

There are plenty of sample content sites at Sitesell. And I was refering to those as optimised site. Not the kind of Adsense Jerk approach or VRE maniac. (Build 100 sites with each generating $1 per day).

Enjoy!
