1&1 is good for $5.99 dot com domains and I use them for that, but their hosting service was horrible when I had a couple of sites with them last summer.

You got that right. I have the package that offered three domains. I was only using one for a few months and just recently tried adding another and OMG what a nightmare. I have never been so frustrated since I have started this business. I am looking into going somewhere else because after being on the phone with them and trying email help it is still not resolved. _________________ Patty Clarkson

I am taking domain registration and web hosting services from Net4.com and i am fully satisfied with their services because of their reliable services and technical support. _________________ privatdetektiv |

I would recommend HostGator. It is the best out there with the best customer support. Price wise also I found it pretty decent. The one hosting that sucks big time is indeed GoDaddy. I had hosted my sites with them initially and they really gave me hard times when I wanted to shift from GoDaddy to Hostgator (which eventually I was not able to!) _________________ Daniel Milstein is the bestselling author of The ABC of Sales - Find out why your sales are slipping |

I suggest you to see this top of the best hosting providers
http://thebesthostingweb.com
The top was realized taking in consideration the following aspects: guaranteed and tested stability of the servers, accessible prices, no intermediary companies, number of hosted domains, very positive feedbacks.
I hope this helps. |

I have had no problems with either of them. If you are looking for a cPanel/Fantastico feature, 1and1 does not have it.
1and1 offers more storage space and bandwidth compared to hostgator and also offers 3 free domain names to go with the hosting account. _________________ PayPal Fraud |

The most excellent host to make use is “webstarts.com”. Without difficulty they switched over to own domain name. I recommend “Webstarts” since they help to obtain ranks on Google, Bind and Yahoo. _________________ I am searching for reliable damp proofing solutions for my damp walls. |
