| I'm trying to get started with blogging to make some extra money. I have been reading some of the entries in this forum but the ideas I have read are too general. I need some specific ideas. Can anyone recommend a good blogging ebook or website that will give me step by step instructions on how to get started? |

| What do you think of Rob Benwell's Baby Blogging Bonanza? I want to start by using a free blog with google. I don't want anything to do with wordpress yet. |

YOu must be aware that with wordpress and free blogs, you are not really in control.
You will do better with wordpress. It's safer.
If blogger decide that your blog is a spammy blog, they can shut your blog down and all your hard work is gone...

I read Rob's ebook, I did not find anything that warranted all the news I have been hearing about it. I don't know much about blogging either I am just trying to get into it as well. I have read on several forums about how good it is and that it is the recommended ebook on blogs out there.
I will have to read it again, it is possible I missed the entire point of the ebook. I have read blogging for dummies as well to get a general overview of blogging, which again for someone with no experience on what blogging is about is a good read.

In my opinion no book is good for blogging. I have read blog and ping, blogging to the bank. But both the books have beginners tutorials like how to blog, how to ping, how to put adsense, etc.nothing more.
Either you search on google about blog,ping and get the knowledge. you will find many resources for free which give you idea about blog and ping.
