Wouldn't it be great if there was ONE affiliate program that everyone could join and just get filthy stinkin rich off? That way we could all be doing the exact same thing!
Yeah. I like that idea. What should it be pencils or Porsches?
Hmm I wonder why some people make a lot of money selling other peoples pencils?

as I've already posted, it all depends from the niche you promote and how succesful you're in doing so.
btw, are there companies having affiliate program with selling cars? I bet it could be nice affiliate business here in Europe promoting "cheap" BMW x-5

I guess it depends how risky you can go. You can become affiliate with spammers and start promoting replica watches or anything that incomes to you "spam" box. I think you can make yourself enough cash in buying latest Porshe within some 5-6 monthes and then ending up living "for free" couple of years - in prison

Yeah, my affiliate friends and newbies have asked me that question alot. I ended up building a site, listing my top 5 affiliate programs. www.makemoneywithaffiliateprograms.info
I originally joined CJ and started promoting their products with little success! You need to have high visitor numbers to your site in order to make money from cj, their products just don't convert as well as other programs.
Anyway, I built the site hoping that it would help internet marketers find programs that convert well.
All the programs, that I have listed have been tried and tested and many of my friends in the business live off their commissions from these programs.
I have probably gone on a bit. I have alot of ideas for the site, however I need to finish some other projects first.

In our network, the top performing programs are those coming from retail and fashion programs. Of course this depends on the performance of the affiliates that we have on our rooster.

ClickBank and Commission Junction are top affiliate programs. All top affiliate marketers definitely recommend them.

This question is not a really good question. Just because one affiliate program is the best for one person doesn't mean it will be the best for another person, infact it could turn out to be your worst.
Different people have different ways of promoting things and that is why some programs work people for some people than others, plus they also have different topics.

OK, let's get the terminology straight:
Affiliate Publisher- you and me
Advertiser - company that offers affiliate program
Affiliate Program Manager - a company such as CJ that connects advertisers and affiliate publishers and manages the connection. Some advertisers manage their own programs.
Affiliate Program - an offer by an advertiser, usually through an affiliate program manager (such as CJ), to pay publishers (you and me) a commission for some kind of site visitor action (sale, lead, or other).
My best affiliate is me. My best affiliate program manager is CJ. My best affiliate program (on CJ) is Lexington Law.
