I have just installed a modification to the forum which shortens long URLs by replacing some of the middle characters with an ellipsis (...). Example http://www.associateprograms.com/this-is-a-long-dummy-url-that-will-be-truncated-by-the-new-forum-mod/ There are a few reasons for this change: people reading browsing the forum won't be bombarded with the confusing complexity of long urls, it helps ensure the flow of the swanky new layout isn't affected by user comments.
