Post subject: Good Free Web Sites?
|
|
|
Hello Everyone!
Before I get fully involved and decide on how to get started (looking seriously at SBI by the way) I would just like to learn a few basics of web design. I searched for 'free web sites' and got info overload, so perhaps you nice folks here could suggest a few options for a newb to get his feet wet? |

SBI may be a great idea if you have a small business and want to make one or two sites to promote it. If you are not an affiliate marketer (selling other people products) there isn't much better for beginners.
My advice would be to hit your local bookstore. Back in the early 90's when "Internet in a Box" was an actual product and HTML was very basic I purchased a book on how to do HTML webpages. I believe everyone who wants to be online would benefit from understanding basic HTML. And while there are online primers there is nothing quite like the offline experience of browsing the bookstore. _________________

I have two free hosts that I use, sitekreator.com and piczo.com.
Piczo is good if you have lots of graphics and it?s very easy to use, but they put Adsense on each page. Also, I believe you cannot have a domain name there.
For more professionalism, I prefer sitekreator. They let you have a domain name and you can upgrade to a paid service later on if you want more space. Plus, they don?t put ads on your webpages, so you can use Adsense if you want. Sitekreator takes a bit to get used to the controls, but once you have it down, they are good.
Oh, and Sitekreator gives you the option of creating your own mailing lists which is handy.
Hope this helps. _________________ Everything You Need to Know About Opt In Lists - www.optinincome.com |

I don't know if you are still looking for a free host, but I am in the middle of building a free hosting system for affiliate sites complete with an itegrated datafeed. I have only installed a few for now, 3 from shareasale and one from cj.
It uses a site builder, so its kind of a NO GO for the experienced guys, but if you looking for a great starting point check out my project at bumblebeecash.com.
I need a few people to demo it so I can finish up some of the programing. Would be glad to get anyone willing to give me some feedback.
I really have no idea what people want, I just built what I thought would be a good package. |

Squidoo is a popular place to use one page blogs or websites. Squidoo is user friendly and rated very good with Google. You can earn money from ads placed on the sites if you use the modules for Ebay, Amazon and others will share the revenue with Squidoo. This area is great for making pages for your affiliate products. _________________ dell coupons |
