Hello All, I wonder if anyone knows anything about -ReferralWare, Juvio, Health First.
I am just so confused I cannot see the forest for the trees. I have even paid out some money (Nearly $50) and I really have no idea what it is for.
It is mach90 and juvio, I think they are one and the same but am not sure. But try as I might I cannot find anywhere to start ANYTHING.
I keep getting emails from $1.67 a day, telling me that if I don't join NOW those under me who DO join will leapfrog over me and I will lose everything.
I somehow think $1.67 a day has something to do with ReferralWare.
I read about 'upline' - 'downline' - 'alpha' and on and on and ooonnn.
Please be truthful, am I just being foolish in thinking I might be able to add this kind of web work (I don't know the terminology) (I thought I was looking at AFFILIATES) in addition to the website I already have which is in a slump at the moment. I though I could work at making a reasonable cash return for hard work. But if no one tells me what to do to get started (they only ask for money) then all seems lost. I am a bit disillusioned because it seems (the one I HAVE paid money too)Once they have the money then it seems nothing happens.
I know I am seeing this through ignorant eyes and that probably is not so. I just cannot find any guidence.
Do you think it is too much for a person of my age, 68, to grasp?? My ignorance leaves so much to be desired.
Ohh, God, I am so confused. If I paid all the money I am being asked for (and they all seem to be monthly amounts of around $50 plus). I would be even more broke than I am already.
Please help an old girl just trying to get some kind of income for a reasonably secure old age. I will stop my grumbling now, I really am not a whiner. I am just frustrated.
What is something SIMPLE I can follow and be successful. I don't want to make a million, just enough.
I'll sign off now and thanks in advance for what ever help you might be able to send in my direction. _________________ If you desire warm, healthy feet, then visit my website.

Many of those "businesses" you mention sound like MLM (multi-level marketing). While some MLMs are legit, many are pyramid like schemes.
Either way, discussion of MLM based businesses are against the forum guidelines here at Associate Programs.
As far as a good business plan, I suggest Allans 18 Step Affiliate Tutorial... or his Beginners Guide, or one of the other articles found to your right (under the "Explore the rest of the site..." heading). _________________ Eric D. Burdo

I am so sorry if I have gone against the forum guidelines. I have been so confused. I did not realise what they were. Please accept my apologies. From what you say I think I will just ask for my money back from whichever one of them that I paid it too. Sorry again and thanks. _________________ If you desire warm, healthy feet, then visit my website.

Hi Maureen, When you're brand new to marketing on the Internet, it's easy to be swept away by hype and buy something which promises quick money but fails to deliver.
Most of us who have been marketing online for a few years see it as a serious business. The way we look at it, you have to create something worth while which provides real value to your website visitors. That's the road to long-term success.
Ask yourself what YOU have to offer.
Start thinking about your strengths and experiences. What jobs have had? What topics do you enjoy reading about? Enjoy talking about? If you walk into a magazine store, which magazines catch your attention?
Perhaps you could research those topics and see if there's potential for building a website or creating a product on one of those topics.
If you choose a topic which you already love, your business will seem more like an enjoyable hobby than a business. _________________ Allan Gardyne

Hi Maureen,
You're definitely in the right place. Your experience and knowledge put you at a considerable advantage in my opinion.
From what I've learnt (so far) affiliate marketing is all about creating interesting original content with the voice of experience.
Avoid any 'money making systems' at all costs, the only system that works is your system which you can develop for free.
All the info you need is here, explore the links and tutorials to the right of this forum.
Do what you do, write about what you know, be passionate about what you love, add value to the web and the rest will follow.
If you want the least learning curve and the maximum return I'd recommend SBI - click the link to the upper right about building a real business you're proud of and don't look back.
Maybe I'll see you in the SBI forums
Hope to see you around.

Hello All,
I would like to thank those of you who have so kindly taken the time to educate me in the differences between MLM and Affiliate marketing. I think I am getting a grasp on things a little bit better now.
I am reading the threads in the forum, and even though I am so new here, I hope I am not out of order when I say, I would like to wish Allan all the very best of continuing good health for the future.
I have downloaded Allan's 18 step tutorial, as well as Ken Evoys Affiliate Masters Course, The Reese Report and joined the 5 Pillar Program. It is a lot of 'hard copy' reading I am going to have to do, I know, but I will get there in the long run.
Ohh, and I just purchased Ken Evoy's 'Make Your Content PREsell'!!!
I just have to sort out in which order I need to start my reading. I am sure as I start I will be guided to the right track. Any ideas will be greatfully accepted.
I have made a resolution not to spend any more money until I really know what it is for. _________________ If you desire warm, healthy feet, then visit my website.

I'd say pick one of those approaches, and use that. Don't try to read them all at the same time and follow all the different guidelines.
The SBI approach (SiteSell and SiteBuildIt!) is a great way to go. Dr Ken Evoy will guide you through everything.
After you have one SBI site up and moving well, you can decide if you want to use the SBI approach for your next site, or try it on your own. _________________ Eric D. Burdo
