Congratulations, Allan,
At this very moment it happened; This forum has 1000 registered users. Right now there are 3 registered and 17 unregistered users here. Wich should be interpretated: Users are in the 5 figures. Isn't that a nice Christmas present for the kind Mr. Gardyne?
Image the load of information floating out of here, all over the world; improving business efforts for eaverone in here.
I support Debs' idea: I will place a link to Allan from my Web Resources page, as a Christmas gift for him: This Forum must be supported. _________________ DatabaseDesigner

Wonderful thanks for the heads up Db ... hope you don't mind the abbreviation
I put my link up too. 1,000 registered (isn't that 4 figures not 5 or is my math screwed up? lol)

Debs,
Your math is definitely screwed up:
if you interpolate my probe results: 3 registered and 17 unregistered), you really can just calculate mean values; you find that at the moment (of speaking) there are /3+17)/2 = 10 users as mean value users here.
Spread that over time: if for each 3 registered users, there are 17 unregistered users you get for every 1 user there are roughly 6 unregistered at any time, and 1000 reg. users gives you 6000 unregistered at any time, and unregistered come and go, registered stay, and so on;
No more math please, I am on vacation, woman. Just trust me (I think I have said that to other women as well...) _________________ DatabaseDesigner

Debs, Charlie and now Databasedesigner,
The wooden ruler is pointing at the maths stats on the white board .... there are times I log on and there is just me, Administrator and lots of guests. As I don't count in the stats, a big zero, that makes DBD's calculations infinite!! Allan will be pleased!
A blessed and enjoyable Christmas to all.
Class dismissed!
Cheers,

Thank you! It's all part of my philosophy of web site creation. If you build something interesting and USEFUL, people will link to you. Thanks again for helping me prove it works.
The challenge now will be maintain the friendly, helpful atmosphere as word spreads and the forum continues to grow.
