It's OK to use AdSense ads on Squidoo. Have a look at the example sites. You can see AdSense ads on them.

If the Squidoo system becomes very popular and if you make frequent updates, it might be possible to generate revenue.

We've been looking at the same page too Allan. But as I understand it Squidoo doesn't allow any one to place their own adsense ads, instead they will give you part of their earning as royalty!
I have been working on my lens there for almost 5 months now You can just magine me working on my lens there everyday, 6 days a week, 3 hours a dayyet until now my commission account says $0.00. To think that my shopping lens generates a very significant traffic.
