Is it worth the time to submit your blogs to blog directories/feeds?
How much additional traffic is there out there in directories?

I'm not sure about the blog directories, but feed sites usually bring a good amount of traffic. The directories are more for backlinks than actual visitors. Feed sites seem to get more real people looking for blogs.

I feel that the best blog directories are seen as 'authority' sites and as such are spidered frequently by G, Y and MSN. Getting your sites listed in the blog directories can only help SE indexing. So I feel the time I spend submitting is worthwhile.

I'll also throw in my 2 cents to the benefits of submitting your blog rss feed to the directories. I use rss submit and it'll handle auto submission to about 45 rss directories and then you can manually submit to about 20 more. It takes about 3 minutes for the automatic part and results in some good backlinks.
