Post subject: Further payout reduction?

| Do you observe Adsense further reduces their payout? Same sites, similar click no. but reduce in revenue. the rate can be as low as 0.03 per click. |

It isn't that Adsense reduces the payout as it is that
1. some terms pay pennies a click, others pay dollars. That's based upon what advertisers are willing to pay for their ad on that keyphrase;
2. broadmatching I believe has allowed lower paying ads to rotate more into the Adsense ads; and
3. what keyphrase your page is picked up for by Adsense.
I have pages that earn pennies, then pages that earn dollars per click. I have a pretty good idea of which pages earn what because of the research I did within Adwords itself (not Adsense). However, I don't know which pages are earning the clicks (discussed in another thread).

This is key in my view, and while refuted by Google, maintained by many publishers on other forums. Personally, I'm wholeheartedly convinced.
For those who aren't familiar with the term "broad matching," it's an option Google began offering to AdWords advertisers in mid-October. There is no way for AdSense publishers to control it on our side. Our hands are tied to the system. |
