Ok, Im making my first site that sells stuff....however I just discovered that google adsense uses iframes and isnt really supported in xhtml.
What do you guys do about this? Just use standard html instead? |

What do you mean "isnt really supported in xhtml"?
Are you talking about validating? If so, I validate my sites w/out putting in AdSense. Then I just ad AdSense and don't worry about it. I have never yet had AdSense mess up the formatting/layout of my site. _________________ Eric D. Burdo

well thats the issue I was trying to avoid. I wanted my sites to validate cause SE like sites that validate....
anyway as I said Im new to it, so thats why I asked. Perhaps I shouldnt worry about my sites validating?
edit:
I just found out that if I use xhtml transitional the problem should go away. sorry for this waste of a thread. |

Not a waste... it's a good question.
Most SE's don't read Javascript... so they don't know what your iframes and such include (if they have javascript in them).
I have never yet seen any troubles from AdSense not validating. I think the SE's are more concerned that your site has good content and easy to read than if it validates 100%.
Now, that being said... the more your site validates, the easier it is for spiders (and browers) to parse it. _________________ Eric D. Burdo
