There are several strategies to improve your adsense income. The placement of the ads is crucial and the colors also effect the click thru rate. Also, the relevant keywords used make a difference in how much you get paid per click. _________________ Money-Making-Online.net - Huge Google Profits |

.... If you've got a dozen ways for the visitor to get off your page, what are the odds that an Adsense ad will be clicked? Not very good.

Yes, very simple pages which give the visitor few options work well.

OK, newbie here (My knowledge extends to devouring everything written here and at sitesell, amongst others) but I'm slightly confused.
I've been looking at lots of options to make some long term money and have finally settled SBI to start off with as it seems "do-able" and realisitic.
As best I can make out SBI! works on the principle of building large content rich site with loads of pages and links for visitors to click on and then monetising it with adsense and affilates. Yes?
Have I missed the point of this thread? (Probably)
Be gentle, still learning ........

The point is to have limited options on the page the person is currently on. This ties win with what Kenny boy calls "most wanted response" (MWR)...
The sort of SBI info site model you mean works well for many people. Adsense is often that MWR.
More specifically with SBI, the home page leads to tier 2 pages. These both offer monetised options and link to tier 3 pages. With tier 3 pages - if Adsense is the MWR - it might be best to limit the options as much as possible. At the very least, don't make navigation prominent or attractive.
Hope this helps,
Charlie. _________________ "Before I speak, I have something important to say."

Here is one trick i use to increase my adsense clicks.
When i write articles on a product (say outdoor grills )i make sure to include the price range of the product. The i simply paste adsense next to the price paragraph. Using these technique i have been able to generate double digital clickthoughs , however never ever reached 20%! _________________ Jatin Dhillon
