At what point should one consider applying for adsense?

How many visitors should one be getting per day for an adsense application to make sense?

Thanks for your response.

I don't think there's really any definitive answer to your question. Google does not seem to consider traffic to your site as factor in whether or not they approve your application. They look at your site's content.

There are a lot of publishers who do not meet the $100 monthly payout threshold, so that means they are averaging less than $4/day in AdSense earnings. Your traffic would have to be pretty low to average less than $4 day.

Do you want to let us know how many daily visitors your site has?

I'm not asking whether it matters to google. I simply want a guideline that I can follow. Smile

In other words, what's the minimum number of visitors you would require for adsense to make any financial sense... Or does it really matter.

What is your experience? How many visitors were you recieving per day when you applied?

Thanks.

I think that only the individual publisher can determine that. Some people don't want any ads on their site regardless of the income it would generate while others are satisfied with any amount of income. I know there are some publishers who are thrilled that their AdSense revenue simply covers their monthly hosting fees.

About 7,000, but I know there are lots who have only a few hundred daily visitors.

Since it is free to join, it makes financial sense to join immediately. I mean, why wouldn't you?

Because if your site is rejected and then you apply and are accepted with another site, the rejected site will be blocked from displaying the code. You want your site to have the type of content that is conducive to the AdSense program before applying.

Thanks for your replies.

In my case, it's not really a question of worrying about meeting the adsense criteria.
