I would go with Wordpress.
Blogger sucks the big one. They do blanket deletes on accounts.
I had several new blogs (not spammy, shit blogs either) but ones I spent money creating content for and promoting them. Blogger deleted all the blogs in that account with no warning or explaination.

Dave,
Thanks for posting that. I'd been undecided about continuing to post my own blogs for the linking advantage, but that is the one thing I've always been worried about... that they could simply delete me one day and <POOF!> all my hard work would vanish.
I hate giving control of my work to someone else.
