about 5% of affiliate earn over 10000 usd per month . rest play between 0 to 1000 ..
it does not depend how much hours you work . real thing depends on your niche . if you have demanding niche . build a big mailing list for your site or have good keywords for search engines . you will make thousands with work of less than hour a day .
remember choosing a niche that you love and working for it all the time with your heart is key of success in affiliate marketing .

I think it also depends on how HARD you work. You can spend 8 hours a day in front of a computer, but if you are really only working for a grand total of about 2 hours, it might be a bit harder to see the results you desire.
In addition, you need to have a good system in place. Advertising, networking, etc....... there are a lot of different things that go into creating a good, successful, profitable business.

Just thought I'd share some of my states. I've focus mainly on PPC advertising and Clickbank products. I started 3 months ago and earn about $1000. I spend not more than an hour a day tweaking my campaigns.

Hi
I would say that it is not the amount of time you spend but the quality of your effort
I used to think in terms of how long to spend every day or every evening but now I think in terms of what tasks have I to do today!! Then I do them.
If you don't get sidetracked and stay focussed it is amazing how quickly you can get through things.

You must know what you are doing. Like everything, you must learn, then act. People who don't make money are just going in the wrong direction, they don't take the time, or they are not serious about the business.
I was doing business offline before, and when I came to the net, I thought: Very fast money.
Yes and Not. The possibilities are infinite compare to what I was doing offline; it is simple, but it's not so easy. You got to work hard, and the most important, you should know how to do it well.

Yes, I agree with you,
It's exactly what I've said in the post. You must work smart by learning, then learn from your mistakes. And if you really want to go to the next level, you have to take advices from successful affiliates, like we are doing rigth now.
You must be close to the affiliates community to be aware about changes...
For instance, something is hapening now with Google, I' ve just received an email from them, and pages rank are changing since 2 days. One of the sites I go on everyday had a PR of 9, 2 days ago(its Pr is usually 4). and today, PR of 0!
Let's see what's hapening...

this sound unreal to make 10k a month take alot of money and time profit must go down to about 30% of that later. just thinkin i'm not sure about that.

I think if you aren't spending at least 20% of your time learning you will not really succeed. You must constantly look for new ideas, read articles, subscribe to newsletters, and keep up on what's going on. There's a lot information out there that is bad/wrong/outdated but as you search you will find that occasional gem.
