Sorry if this is in the wrong forum but I got a question to ask about clickbank affiliating... im quite new to it. First of all this is purely for pay per click advertising and not having a website or a specific niche of my own. Its just about finding good different company/products to affiliate. So my question is.... about how clickbank ranks their affiliates.... would it be wise to affiliate the highest ranked company/product in their different categories or would that just set me up for a downfall because of too many people already supplying it?? and if so what would be a better way of finding a company/product to affiliate in that sense? Thanks in advance for any help.

When I pick my programs from Clickbank I don't go by their rankings. Keep in mind they get paid off the programs as well so they will obviously promote the products they will make the most money off of. I go based on the product, its demand, and how much you make per sale. For example, I like to promote their movie/music download programs because that is clearly the way technology is going. They have less refunds and returns to deal with, no shipping, less potential customer service issues to make you look bad for promoting them. Most of the ones on my site pay me $15 or more, usually closer to $25 or more. I stay away from the $7 pay-offs in most cases.
