Post subject: Struggling for sales
|

I have a number of campaigns running but have generated 500 clicks so far, wasted $100 and received just 2 sales.
What exactly am I doing wrong here? My ads and keywords have been researched thoroughly and are obviously getting clicks, but just no sales... |

Do you use negative qualifiers such as -free?
You could include the price in your ad. Also: try and track your ads. See which keyword produces and which doesn't (in case this is offered). And if everything else fails (and even if it doesn't), get a newsletter started.
Collect the email-adresses and send several follow-up mails to them. This will raise your conversion rate and you can personally test the signup rate via Google-Tracking and improve it. Also, you then have a list to market other products, too.
This should bring you to profitability. Two sales with 500 visits can be improved.
Try it and share the results. (per PM if you prefer not to make it public )
I'm always curious how my tips change profitability. _________________ Get Instant Payday Formula. The Sales letter is all hype and it has "instant" in the title, but it's finally a product that really delivers. |

godonnygo,
Take one book to cover it all, you will NOT regret it.
There is simply no better book around to really learn the professional touches of Adwords, I am convinced all of us agree.
The Definitive Guide To Google Adwords.
See the link in my sig.
Regards,
C.F.
PS If your interested I can mail you an outstanding report and review of this book. |

| Try setting up an email capture page with a series of follow up messages for your Adwords campaigns. Experts say that people usually have to see a sales message up to 7 times before they act on it. |

If you're getting the clicks, it might now be a bad idea to try some CPL (pay per lead) offers. The email only or zip only pay per lead offers can do very well for you if you target them right. _________________ Jonathan Lyons | Affiliate Manager

godonnygo,
So you have the Definitive Guide, good, you have invested wisely. You know you may have the same problem like I have at times, I write kllier ads that make people curious and click on it but not buying anything.
Go back to the chapter where Perry Marshall explains the "Turn the corner keywords". It will answer everything if you read properly.
Do you do "split testing"? If you are interested I can mail you some of my campaigns I did last year and the ones I am doing for my Supertip link.
It is costly but worth it, just tell Google how much you want to spend each day so you can control your costs.
O, one more thing, sometimes it takes days or even weeks for a campaign to fan out properly, you just have to keep on tuning it.
Press on and be inspired, you've got what it takes to succeed.
May fortune smile on all of you.
