I've signed up and received emails from comission junction and have successfully joined them. The problem is, I can't access the site!
I logged in on my friends computer and everything was working fine, but the problem is, I can't access it on my own computer (which I'm using now).
I have Spybot Search & Destroy and am using Mozilla Firefox (my friend also has both on his computer), but I think there could be a setting somewhere on my computer where Commission Junction is blocked.
I can't log into cj.com, or linkshare.com, or qksrv.net. Whenever a banner ad is shown on a website (like a forum for example), the site loads fine but the ad banner doesn't show up.
So I know somewhere that these ad sites must have been blocked but my question is how do I unblock them? |

Do you have Norton Security or other virus/security software installed? Norton frequently screws up ads you see.

godonnygo,
Ad-ware, anti-spy, firewall, and anti-virus programs block your browser from sites that they have on their block list. These lists are put into your HOST.txt file located at C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc.
Find the HOST.txt file and open it with Notepad. Delete the site that you are wanting to access. Or you can delete all the data in the file (all the file data may be restored by the program).
After editing, save the file.
Close all your browsers.
Open your browser and access the site.
Hope this helps,
