Post subject: What is "personal, non-commercial use?"
I note that many sources of free syndicated content like RSS feeds, state the content can only be used on "personal and non-commercial" websites. The same for some free photo sources. Does anyone have a reliable definition of just what this means? Would a content site with affiliate links qualify? _________________ Building a content site on Florida Senior Resources (domain name); not yet on line. Here to learn; will try to contribute as well. Personal non-commercial use is using it for yourself in a non-commercial setting. If for example, you used the item on a website open to the public and that website had say Adsense advertising on it, you are breaking the restriction, because you are engaged in commerce.
A non-commercial website is basically one there for educational (or whatever) purposes--like a library website. There are no advertising or other commerce functions. _________________ Get original Gambling Content at GamblerContent.com
