I started to promote my website only with articles, and I can say that it is the best way to go.
Post articles during 1 week or 2 everyday, then tape your name on google, you will beblown away when you will see your name, your links on tons of website.
It is really the way to go, at the beginning, and all the way.
I post to article directories, and now, I want to use a new technique( for me), I want to ask directly to ezines owners to send my articles for FREE, but that technique is very powerful.
There is many tactics to use with articles, these 2are great.
I will post a new thread about Top Ezines directory of Charly pages, because according to what I have read: you write a good article, you send it to all the ezines owner which accept articles, they sendit to their list, and watch the m,oney roll on.
It is what a lot of very experienced marketers say.
P.S: Article marketer have a free submission.

I know 2 good techniques to post articles:
1/ You post good articles to article directories on a constant basis.
2/ You Promote your articles through Ezines which distribute articles:
you tape in google: Your niche market + ezines (and/or + newsletter)
Then you contact thethe top 100 websites, you send an email to them (search on the website for contact infos, if not available search WHOIS at godaddy.com).
In this email, you ask them if they publish article in their ezine; if yes, ask them if they wish to publish yours, and bingo.
It is really very targeted.
As for the top ezines directories of Charlie Page, all the good Ezines owners subscribe to his directory, and when you are a member, all that you have to do is to write their contact, send them an email.
It is must faster, you can send more articles.
But I didn't try this Top Ezines directories, so I want to know if it is really as good as people like Yanik Silver and other big marketer say that it is one of their secret weapon.
If I have confirmation, I will subscribe.

well dont think so . reason its not you who is publishing free article . thousands of peoples love to publish free articles .hence duplicate contents for search engine . so i think publishing articles from free sites is waste of time .... best way is ask appeal your visitors to write articles for you or pay $10-$20 per good article .

I do not think it is a waste of time, and I give you the proof right now:

I started to post articles in february only, and already, my articles have been distributed in Ezines and on websites I've never heard off (including blogs).
The traffic that I receive already is very taretted, and I did not advertise anywhere else, nor paid anything for my website promotion.
I started with safelists, autosurf, and paid ezines, but most of them are waste of your vlauable time.
As for the articles, results will increase more and more...

I am happy that you started with articles.
Know that the very first day you post your articles, people will see them.
I advise you to start with these 2:
www.ezinearticles.com
www.goarticles.com
and articlecity.com
as they or the most famous so far.
You then will be able to login your accout, and see how many people read your articles, downloaded them...( for www.ezinearticles.com only)
The reader, if Interested with your article, will click on your link in the BIO BOX, or if you prefer: AUTHOR BOX, or RESSOURCE BOX.
It is the same.
You will see traffic from your articles in less than 1 week.
You can see where your visitors are coming from in your Cpanel control (where your website is hosted); if you don't find, ask to the webmaster of your hosting account: How can I track visitors from my website(s)?

P.S: If yu have some money, and want to improve your writing skills, I think you must have Hypnotic writing of Joe Vitale.

I write at least one distributable article a week - put it on my own Gazette (blog) then wait for about 48 hours then post it in my submission sites that I use.
Does it work. Holy Cow. I've had first spot - not just first page but first spot on Google, MSN, AOL, and a few others for several of my keywords --Over 600 sites at one time have featured my articles. I can't believe some of the spots they are turning up at. One site uses so many that I even tailor a few just toward her audiance. My alexa ranking has dropped (good) from about 3 and a half mil to about 770,000 in just a few months and is still dropping.
Every once in a while, I'll pull an article from somewhere else -- full credits given, of course, if I get in a jam for time. Now those don't pull like the origninals I write because it's repeat web information. The first pulbisher of the info gets the best pull, that's all there is to it. But if you mix contents you get great results.
After that you just have to find submission sites that work best for you -- I won't use one if I can't see my stats to see what the ads are doing. And if I google my site and don't see article listings from a submission site - I don't use it again.
It's the same thing as anything else on the net (or anywhere else for that matter) you have to give value to get value. If you are spitting out crap you just can't expect to receive gold back no matter where you take it or what you do with it.

Abou -- I'll give away one other freebie tip from my book just for you. Well, basically because I just believe a lot of people miss the whole point about articles.
When you are writing - now and again it's a good idea to write something that you can interview other people about -- and use their info and name in the article --- such as "Mr. Expert says that the occurance of such phenomena........" Or "Newbie Smith says he attempted this only to find...."
If the person is fairly well known it helps your articles pull because people always want to know what the experts are saying and it gives your work credibility. Even if the person is not known, people you interview will look at your site and tell others about it --especially if their name is in an article there. This is your word of mouth source of traffic, and it can build substantially if you have done your site right.
You can pick up some good tips on other topics to write about when interviewing, too.
This method can really help pull viewers and make new contacts in your feilds -- and I have never had a spam complaint as I am not selling them anything -- just asking for some knowledge or an opinion. You'd be surprised some of the side benefits I have received doing this.
There's just a lot of ways you can use articles to help your business grow.
