I personally know people made good out of ezines... most often says it takes some time to find good ezine to advertize in..
if you can find a high traffic related site and pay them to link to you.. you might get good sales..
other method might be co-reg or buying/renting existings lists
I am personally working towards 1 and 3.. in totally different niche, but I think these are best ways cuz folks have already some sort of relationship with ezine/list owners.
adwords and others take lots of effort n learning curve to make them work. but it's better to do best in what you can really do.. than find out time n effort to experiment on side by side...

Two places to post an article are goarticles.com and ezinearticles.com
Pick a topic you know about, write a quick article and include your links.

There are many ways to get your site noticed. You can use google to find many free press release sites, they will get you free links to your site. You can approach sites that offer paid links but beware not to pay to much. I run an advertising site and I don't believe in someone paying to much for advertising.
Don't forget the main way to get advertising and thats a high spot on search engines through optimization. I want to help you so if you message me your email address I'll send you my own web optimization E Book (I wrote it myself) free.
Have a look at my site and message me with any questions you have about advertising, opimization and other issues relating to gaining traffic to your site.
Thanks |

Hi Mugshot,
I am new too and your tips are great. Anyway, I do believe too in not paying too much money for advert. Only thing is when you are just starting and do not make or don't have enough money we do need to get into free advertising and hopefully it will generate some traffic to your site' _________________ [b]Plug-In Profit Site - 3 Easy Steps to Make Money Online[/b |

The best way to advertise in my view is to set up your own affiliate program and have a online sales force generate the traffic and sales for you. It does take some time to build it up but once they are in place and promoting your site you will see wonders...I have done it myself and know it works....It is low risk (doesnt cost you anything) and it can produce the best results....Many of the most successful internet businesses use this model for their internet revenues.

There are many ways to promote or advertise, but since this is in the paid ads section, I'm assuming that you want to know about paid advertisements. If the choice is between Google Adwords or ads on the smaller pay per click engines, I'd choose Google for sure. Google can be very powerful if you take the time to study it.
I have tried a lot of ppc's, but stay mostly with Google and Overture right now. Please keep in mind that even a small amount per click can add up to THOUSANDS of dollars in fees...so learn what you are doing and monitor your campaigns very closely.

I would go for the paid email sites I think. Did google adsense for a while but did not work out. Other thing is just post your info on forums. That makes it visible in google as well. Sending out paid emails and getting many hits to your site also helps in getting it found....
Look at www.arjan.ws for the sites I use, or pick your own, there are plenty of them.... |

I've had success with Google Adwords. The trick is you have to know which keywords to use. They have to be exact or phrase keywords, not broad keywords, else you get your advert showing when people are searching for car books, even when you are selling car stickers. You have to type "car stickers", or [car stickers]. That way, you will only get highly target traffic. If you get 100 people clicking on "car stickers", you should make a few sales if you are promoting a decent product. _________________ "Get Paid $5 For Each Article"-100% Genuine |

I'd modify that to say that whatever product or service you're selling, it's a good idea to test and see if AdWords advertising will work for you. It's a good place to start.
Unfortunately, many websites don't have a high enough conversion rate to be able to afford AdWords advertising.
Imagine, for example, that you were selling a product called "How to Make Easy Money". The AdWords Keyword Tool estimates that your average cost per click for that phrase would be $15.95. For "how to make money" it would be $4.91. That's PER CLICK. So 100 clicks would cost you $400 to $1,500. You'd have to be mighty good at turning visitors into buyers. A more effective method for getting traffic in this case would be to have your own affiliate program.
Or let's say you owned a website whose business model was built around flicking traffic on to a pay-per-click search engine. You'd probably have difficulty achieving a great AdWords Quality Score. If you have a low Quality Score, AdWords will punish you with high prices for your advertising. In this case, because you have a risky business model you could test other pay per click sources to see if that will work, but you might end up relying on free traffic generating techniques, such as making a post on this forum.
Just a thought... If you find you can't afford AdWords advertising, one thing you could do is look for ways to improve your conversion rate, for example by collecting email addresses to give you multiple chances of making a sale. _________________ Allan Gardyne

Do a search for your keywords, look at where your competitors are linking from , check the PR of the pages and the number of links on the page and do a back link.
Do a search for .edu sites and see if you can put your links there. _________________ 16 Year old kid From Australia Reveals...
