Hello everyone I am about to embark on a project for the new year, I am actually going to build my own website. Its about time (as the christmas bonus from my regular job 8-4 should be sufficient to do the funding).
I am not an expert, but I know a little about html and so forth. I need some help and guidance in chosing which website building software I should use.
I have been a free affiliate of SBI for few years now and finally decided to do something. I like the family feeling at SBI.
So I would appreciate any comments, comparisons, advantages and disaantages, ease of use, support, etc. of the site building programs. With all this informaton I am hoping to make a wise choice. Feel free to PM or email me too. _________________ Send Video Emails. Do LIVE Video Webcasting(Do it FREE or charge a fee). Video IM with 3 Persons. Video Blogging...plus many more features. Hi Sunny,
I started an SBI site in August with very little experience. I have since learned soooo much in regards to sitebuilding, HTML, RSS, SEO...you name it, SBI has it!
I first thought about starting with James Martell's method and using Frontpage, but I'm so glad I went with SBI instead. The SBI platform does so much of the work for you. The SBI templates are simple, but effective for conveying your message...and if you want to upload your own HTML pages, SBI lets you do that too.
I've seen my visitors and page views steadily rise in the last four months and I have almost 100 subscribers to my ezine. My Adsense income is building and the site should pay for itself in the next month or two.
The forums at SBI are top notch and I'm really glad I went the SBI route...it was worth it! _________________ Desperate To Be A Housewife |

Actually there is little to compare b/w SBI, Dream weaver and frontpage; Dreamweaver and frontpage are website builing tools whereas SBi is more than that since you're already an 5-P affiliate. If you're knowledge of Html is very little start out with frontpage to learn the basic building blocks of a website. Once you get the hang of it, you can proceed to Dreamweaver which is also not very difficult to learn if you follow the tutorial given in the help file of Dreamweaver. However if you don't want all the nitty gritty tech stuff, Go for SBi which offers more than just building but a lot of other tools as well. More importantly you can get many ideas from other SBi owners and from Ken Evoy as well as from the newsletters _________________ A part-time effort to a full-time income |

If you choose FrontPage or Dreamweaver, you learn how to use one useful tool. If you choose SBI you get a package which involves a lot of different useful tools. Choosing SBI is a bit like serving an Internet marketing apprenticeship. _________________ Allan Gardyne

Even after serving an apprenticeship I would still choose SBI because it is so much more than simply building a website. _________________ Declan O'Reilly

No. That wouldn't be fair to affiliates.
Imagine you're an affiliate and you work hard to promote an affiliate product, perhaps spending money on advertising, and certainly putting in time and effort. Someone visits your site, reads your recommendation, clicks on your link and then signs up as an affiliate, buys the product through their own link. You've earned the commission, but you get nothing. Not fair. _________________ Allan Gardyne

I am in the process of doing some marketing to get anyone to take advantage of the sitesell christmas special buy one get one free . My hope is to make at least 5 sales before the specials end on Christmas day( that should cover the cost) and use the affiliate commissions that I will earn and invest in buying that same special for my own self. Once I see 5 sales I will just plug in my credit card and grab the bargin myself. Am I being silly?
What are the chances of getting 5 sales before the specials ends on Sunday?
So here, I have read about power words and psycology, that one can put in advertising, which may compel persons to buy a product.
What method of advertising that have proven to be very effective when time or dealine is a factor? What method will produce results for a special promotion like this? _________________ Send Video Emails. Do LIVE Video Webcasting(Do it FREE or charge a fee). Video IM with 3 Persons.
