Morning, I am interested in a good Link/Ad Tracker that is not to expensive that will help with tracker my links and ads so that I can keep track of where my hits are coming from. Something free, with a upgrade that is not a arm and a long or something that can be purchase without any monthly fees involved that also provides free updates for the one time purchase price. Also something that will aid in keeping track of all my affiliate programs as well. Please list all suggestions thanks

I never found a Link Tracker that I was happy with.

My affiliate links essentially lead to pages that redirect the clicker to the merchant. The advantage of this is that I can then use a full-blown Web statistics program to keep track of the redirect pages, which are all in the same directory. I use Urchin Web stats that I got with my hosting plan for $2.50 a month. The beauty of this is that a stand-alone Urchin is $900 and I use it for my link tracking. So I'm essentially using the power of a $900 link tracker for $2.50 a month. I also automated the creation of the redirect pages, so that they are dynamically generated through my ASP code. So all I do is just add a little ASP code to each affiliate link I have, and presto, it's tracked by Urchin.

That's how I operate. I'm not sure how useful this information is in your particular case, but just in case it is, I thought I'd share.

Hi!
I find Adtrackz the best solution, if you want a tracker for a one time low fee.
It has all the basic and some more advanced features you need and you
don't have to pay a monthly fee. It has a subcampaign feature,
a redirecting feature....
Here are the stats you will get:
referring urls
what browsers your visitors have installed
what operating systems your visitors are using
hits per hour
hits per day, and,
hits per month for all campaigns and sub-campaigns (more on sub-campaigns later)

And it's also very easy to install.
All the best
