Just was checking some of my sites in internet explorer..

Seems adsense is not working correctly in internet explorer.
Is this a known problem or is it wrong scripting? :s

thanks for comments!

When you say it's not working, what exactly happens? I checked out the front pages of your two sites in your sig. Freeforumxs shows Adsense at the top. Europidity isn't showing any on the front page but I couldn't find any Adsense code in View Source, so maybe you didn't put any there or I missed it.

If you mean that only PSAs (public service ads) show up, or nothing shows up, then Google may not have had a chance to crawl your page enough to determine what the relevant topics are, or else your content is not clear enough for Google to figure out which ads to serve up. It should only take a few days for something to show up, though. If you've been waiting longer than that, you might want to contact Google and ask them about it. If you have placed too many ad units on the page then the extra ones won't show by default, I think.

If it's on a forum site, I wonder if there might be some special arrangements you have to make in terms of where you place the code. Others here who run forums might be able to help you with that.

If this doesn't answer your question, add an example url to your sig so we can check it out.

Thanks for your feedback.

Adsense is working perfectly at my own computer, but I test my site from multiple computers and connections.. In firefox my adsense ads always works perfect, while in internet explorer it's working approximately 1 out of 5 times Confused
80% of my visitors use internet explorer so it's quite important the ads work correctly in explorer.

And for the sites in my signature.. i have this problem at freeforumxs.. the other one doesn't have any ads.
I use adsense for almost one year now and never discovered this problem before. I have 6websites, not only forums, which have this problem..

Thanks for feedback!

Hmmm... That is weird. Is it possible you changed something in your IE settings before this happened?

I'm noticing that you have more than one language on the site. I wonder if it might be a language issue? Have you noticed a pattern on certain pages but not on others?

I'm using IE6 and here's a sample of what I'm seeing:
- front page: a half-banner (2 ads) near the top
- support centre page: a leaderboard (with 1 ad) at the top
- smilies page: none
- vodclan page: a half-banner (2 ads) near the top
- dfkclan page: same ad vod
- eurpidity page: none
- phpbb2 page: a leaderboard (with 4 ads) at the top

Hope that helps!

Yes this is correct..

Maybe you're right about the settings of internet explorer.. but I don't know if you can ban text ads yourself Confused
As I say.. Firefox is giving me 0 problems.

thanks for your feedback!

Martiano,
Have you selected high security in IE. It can happen due to this. The Danish security company Secunia has discovered vulnerability in Microsoft's Internet Explorer (IE). Check -
How to stop Google AdSense from being vanished?

Wally, do you think this is relevent? If yes, keep it or remove it.

Thanks & regards

Krishna

Krishna,
Security program problems have been discussed previously and this seems relevant (without visiting the URL).
