Briefly, Smart Page is a web page that is opimized for a specific keyword phrase and it's purpose it to get top ranking on Google. Usually you create many smart pages, each is optimized for a different keyword phrase. Once you click on a smart page, you automatically redirected to a page of your choice, say the homepage. so the clicker never "see" the smart page, but the page you want him to see.
I have a spcial report that shows that
1. Smart Pages work, means, get top 10 ranking on Google.
2. Thousands of website are already using Smart Pages with great success.

I think I get it now. So if I understand correctly, a Smart Page is closer to what a cloacked page is than a doorway page.
So a doorway page contains no useful content and its purpose is to just rank high with search engines, but human users see the same pages as search engine spiders.
A cloacked page ranks high with SEs but is served differently to SE spiders so that humans actually see something different and more useful.
A Smart Page is hidden from humans by means of redirection rather than recognizing what the User Agent is, as in cloacked pages.
You have grasped the idea quite right, although, that technicly cloaking is done on the server side, while here the "cloaking" is done on the client side (e.g. the browser).
