hello everyone ..
what is PR ?
usually it is measured in numbers 0 to 10 ..
where 0 is least and 10 is maximum ... it is an index (measurement)to determine popularity of website .....
i want to know if my pr is 1 how many hits i will get from search engine .. if its 4 then how many hits ?...
is there any way to increase pr of the website ?
how does the search engines determine PR ...
it is normally said that the more link partners you have your pr will be more higher ... but i saw some blogs with zero link exchange got pr like 7 or more ...?
can my single one page site get high rank in search engine ?

PR has nothing to do with hits.
PR is just a mathematical formula of the number and the PR of links to a page. To improve it , get more links |

birdie is right.
PR used to mean a great deal about how many visitors you would recieve. Partly because PR is used only by Google (and Google had a great majority of the search market) and because Google relied on it more than they do now.
In reality, Google's page rank and their serps may have nothing to do with each other. I have a site that is PR 2 that only has one page indexed (out of thousands) and receives no search traffic at all! _________________ Oops, did I say that outloud? Sorry.
