I can't really believe James is really open eyed walking into a trap he is warning us for constantly plus the stand he takes about people using his content. Is his PAD idea being misused did healtpages.org steal his content. Giving away your HP as a free article seems rather stupid, or is this no Martell site after all?
Or did he forget to check for the greatest elance and rentacoder content challgenge ie... copy/paste
Whatever the case this site won't really get a good Google ranking this way I guess.

Yes this is a Martell site. Check the site info in Alexa.
And you're right Hans. Just fill in the entire[http://www.healthpages.org/AHP/LIBRARY/HLTHTOP/THR/INDEX.HTM ] url in the Waybackmachine and see James' homepage appear on Jul 07, 1998 on healthpages.org.
I see it with my own eyes, otherwise I wouldn't believe it! In the Buzz James' always boasts he's got one man fulltime checking on plagiarism. See how easily you get fooled. James fooling us/The plagiate checker fooling James/James' content writers fooling James/Our content writers fooling around with us. Shows you it's a tricky business, that's for sure. _________________ Gnoes

OK, I just looked at the hip replacement site to get some insite into what martell is teaching me in his book. Once again it doesn't seem to be following his keyword density rules.
OK, I know the stock answer -- james is always testing and he doesn't need to tell us everything he does.
Can you show me a page he has created that follows his new density rules? If he expects us to earn a good living with his rules an he believes in these rules, why doesn't he use this proven technique on his new sites.
I have his program and the BUZZ, but I never findm him using his own techniques. OR am I missing something here? _________________ Bob

Actually, perhaps it isn't a problem, the similarity. I just did a copyscape check on the health site, and there are many sites that are similar (copyscape only lists the top 10).
So, maybe we should give the benefit of the doubt to James, and assume that both his site and the health site copied from the same site, and maybe that site is in the public domain. _________________ Dennis, MDM Sports

I don't want to sound as if I'm "after James" but I have never caught him doing the things he teaches, not with his 1st-in- sites and not with this new sites.
But I'll leave it at the conclusion that he is always testing. Still if you have to test that much doesn't that mean that you are looking for ways to stay ahead in a battle with the search engines? In my opinion that is impossible, no matter how successful James is he doesn't have the resources Google, Yahoo and MSN have.
I used to love the simplicity of his teachings, put up a few thousand pages and be off on a multitude of trips to all sorts of exotic resorts. Still over the last year it has dawned on me that this might be possible but only if you make a successful effort to provide real (not imagined) value to the user.
The SE's are getting smarter every day, there job is to provide relevant useful information to the public. And content that is already available is not providing something that adds to the user experience. No matter how much we wish it does.
Filling a site with $1000 worth of articles (200 * $5) and expect to make $500 a month is not realistic (anymore). Perhaps you still can use 50% of those $5 articles but then the other 50% has to be of real value.
James is talking about his wish to put up authority sites, and I think he hit the nail on the head there. That's the way to go but it can't be accomplished the way I see him act. (although perhaps with his Cobra site )
I made the mistakes I describe above and have seen my sites slowly but surely vanish from the Google SERPS. Whining over the injustice of Google is of no use. If you want to be on the first result page with content that Google doesn't like means you have to go with PPC (As James seems to be doing). I have been moaning and growing over slipping from the SERPS, blaming scraper sites that where stealing my content. But what really happened is that my sites where already thin and I rather closed my eyes for that.
The only stable sites I have are those where I really made an effort. Where I took the time to do research myself, I mean studying the topic and not only the keywords. For those sites I also have content written at rentacoder or via my network of freelance writers. But because I know the topic I know when an article makes sense or is just a rewritten duplicate of something that is already there.
It's possible to outsource that process as well but it will cost you a lot more then $1000 for 200 * $5 article do. And no matter what you will still be responsible for the result. Brrrr..... now it almost seems to work as a normal business. It is possible to make a good profit if you provide the product and the quality the market asks for.
Anyway this is what seems to be working for me perhaps it is also possible to put up 1000 scraper sites with adsense and make some money. Get banned start again. But I think that is just to much work
