You can get a professional to do it for you at scriptlance.com! Just tell the graphic designers what you want and they'll bid. You choose the one you like. I've used the service before and it saved me a lot of time and money. Having said that, here's a link to ebook cover software: http://www.ecovergenerator.com/. It's not free but I hear you can get some free software by searching for "free ebook cover" on google.com

Thats the only true free one I know of...however it doesn't do perfect perspective. But is does an OK job. Does boxes and books.

Thank, You, Gamezing !
I'll check it out as soon as I can ! I've spent some hours now tracking the Net, and one has to be very careful with buying some of these products: Saying they do everything for You, and then, in the FAQ's saying, like "No, an HTML compiler is not included..." |

Hey -
My friend Armand's software is excellent, but remember that it will only create .exe files (which cannot be viewed on a Mac) if that makes a difference in your marketing of your book.
God Bless you,
Chip Tarver

Hello Chip !
Where can I find Your friend Armend & his SW ?
It doesn't matters what comes out, as long as it is presented on screen. From there one can take a screen snapshot, copy and paste into, let's say Paint, and save it as a GIF or JPG. |

Hi, camtex!
I've settled down and found my SW for eBook covers. See my site if you need it (yes, I'm so satisfied I've become an affiliate of the SW )
To be serious; it does the job and it does it good. |

Hey thats great, and I did look at your site. It looks good. I didnt think to look at the date that your post was made. I should have realized that you probably had your software already. I thank you for replying though.

Hi, camtex !
Thank you. When I discovered this forum I was posting as alfaped, but quickly decided to register. Me and my daughter were in a hurry to register the site and start goin'.
Now our business work like this: I'm working, I build new pages, I'm tweeking the website, I'm writing the articles,(based on 25 years of experience) I'm paying for all the SW needed, and we share the profit on a 50/50 basis. Sounds like a good deal, yes? At least that's what my daughter says...
Back to serious business: For the time being I'm very happy with the software I use, and we've come a long way I think, without spending too much money. |

It sounds to me like someone is getting the short end of stick on that deal. At least she is letting you have 50%. I hope you have a great deal of success in your business.

This is one of the reasons why this forum is so useful. I read the sales copy on the site and didn't see anything about this limitation. Thanks for pointing this out, you saved me the trouble of making a purchase and then having to pursue a refund.
Thanks again,
Bobby |

Hi, Bobby (and Charlie; you're always here to talk to )
I thought that I needed an eBookcompiler, so I bought one, and it has lots of nice functionality that I really appreciate, but I can't load .exe files up to SBI, so I had to go for PDF only, at least for now. I will however, in the future, offer a choice on my sales pages.
First I got the CutePrinter PDF freeware, and it produced the PDF file. But http://www.pdf995.com delivers all I need now, and it's free, except from some annoying advertising. It is so good for my use that I am cosidering paying the 19.95$ they ask to remove. Also from a point of self-respect... |

If you think the advertising's annoying, how do you think the readers will feel?
I'd not put up with the "free" version any longer than I'd tolerate free hosting funded by ads. You need to be thinking CREDIBILITY. (Sorry for shouting.)
Just my opinion,
Charlie. _________________ "Before I speak, I have something important to say."
