| It's just a tip, Charlie. I don't sell this. It's not advertising. It's freeware, and it helps me. But it's a very good help, and it's a better advice than I gave earlier on the Cute PDF printer, also freeware. |

Yes, the tip is from me! pdf995 is the best free PDF program available at the moment. I also use Original Acrobat from Adobe, but in most cases the free PDF995 will do the job the same way. No need to pay anything! The size is also similar then with Acrobat.
All the best

I'd not put up with the "free" version any longer than I'd tolerate free hosting funded by ads. You need to be thinking CREDIBILITY. |

You misunderstand me!
I was talking about credibility with the readers of the PDF, nothing to do with your post. That's why I made the comparison with free hosting that contains ads.
If I read a PDF with off-topic third party adds in it, I would make a judgment about the writer that he probably wouldn't appreciate. I dare say others would too.
$19.95 is a price very much worth paying to avoid this sort of impression, surely.
All the best,
Charlie.
P.S. Since you brought it up, if you want to get hypothetical (and purist), I think it would still be possible to "blatantly promote" a "free" product. _________________ "Before I speak, I have something important to say."

Hi Charlie!
The pdf file that pdf995 creates is ads-free! It's similar then a pdf created
with Adobe. Size is also similar.
The only ads in the free version are, that everytime when you create a pdf
a IE window opens and shows the ad for the paid pdf995 version or a
other product from them, but the pdf itself is clean!
All the best

dk is right about it. I would just consider paying the 19.95 to avoid having IE pop up with their ads each time I use it.
Sorry for mistaking you Charlie. |

Oops, sorry!
Confusion rules OK.
