don't get me wrong - I love my adsense revenue
but I'm curious if we spend too much time google chasing and forget about the importance of good product links.
In case you need to expand you merchant circle... I wanted to share a group of merchant program managers: the team at Partner Centric
If you haven't yet book marked this site in your favourites, I encourage you to do so. They offer some fairly niche topic merchant relationships and are overall, one of the most terrific group of affiliate managers to work with.
This is not a revenue generating plug either - simply visit them at partnercentric.com.
I also post a brief overview of them on my home page. Enjoy - _________________ Andrea Thomson

Andrea,
You are absolutely right. The team at Partner Centric is one of the best in the business and some of their niche merchants perform extremely well...
But why not capitalize on both streams of revenue?
Why not build sites made to monetize adsense specifically and also make sites around niche merchants..
That way you have the best of both worlds and lots more money.. |

Absolutely - that's what I am doing and was simply reminding folks to review all the merchant opportunities available.
I use Server Side Includes a lot on my sites and consciously remove adsense on pages where I know the $ is low or the conversion to merchant will be increased without it.
Many of my clients are new to Affiliate Marketing and maybe haven't heard about Partner Centric - then I wondered how many on Allan's board know of them... hence the plug _________________ Andrea Thomson

Andrea,
Where can I learn about server side includes.
Isn't it useful for internal linking.
Thanks,
Jeremy |

Andrea
You are giving away one of my best kept secret lol. Actually it was nice to meet the people of partnercentric at CJU. I have been with them for years now.
Jeremy most of Andreas templetes use server side includes I am sure you are already using them. They are your "includes" folder in the templetes. I will let Andrea explain more as I am a newbie to that thing also. |

Go Falcons!
They are a bit of a secret, you're right. That's why I thought it would be great to share them with this group.
If Affiliate's haven't had a chance to go to a conference like Affiliate Summit or Commission Junction University, they probably have not had a chance to explore the use of companies like Partner Centric.
What I like best about PC is that they are extremely accessible to Affiliates.
Explore their offerings - introduce yourself - ask questions. You've got nothing to lose and everything to gain _________________ Andrea Thomson

It's nice to see some positive feedback!
My name is Mike Ouellette and I am responsible for affiliate relations at Partnercentric. It is really nice to see positive comments...we do really appreciate it and are striving to do more for affiliates in the coming months. Some of the things that we are working on will not only make it easier to contact us directly if their are questions or problems that need solving, but also some improved automated processes will be included at our affiliate center...http://affiliates.partnercentric.com.
In the meantime I am an available resource to you as a high-level central contact for all PC programs. Feel free to contact me directly with questions, comments at mouellette@partnercentric.com
Cheers!
Mike |
