hi friends,
I am quite sure that CJ is having tracking problem. It just cannot happen that out of 800 targeted visitors no one applied for free account for ebay india.
Out of 300 targeted dating traffic... Just one joined meetic.co.uk
I am sure ... and 101% sure they are doing something behind the wall..
And Y the stats are not real..
If i am wrong... Whats the truth...

yes CJ have problem ... once i placed a banner of some dating site on my page giving $3 -$4 per lead .. it was clearly mentioned that they are paying for lead .. but at end of sign up they started asking for credit card.. so there are lot of such programs who have written they are pay for lead but actually they are pay for sale ... they must clearly mention how big the form is ... some of merchants have 12 pages long form which someone just cant fill .. but they are getting free hits from affiliates

I don't like the way CJ operates.
They are a defo no, no for me.
I've tried them and didn't like them.

cj is converting great for me .. there is thosands of programs too choose.. so atleast 10% of there programns are really great ... but what i dont like in cj is they dont offer wire/secure check to international affiliates

| I participate in eBay affiliate from CJ and so far so good... Sometimes there are some tracking problems and they send out an email to inform all affiliates. |

There were serious problems with tracking when I tested it[ Manually collected some leads and entered and not tracked]. CJ's support sucks. They are never serious about resolving tracking issues. I had raised the eBay affiliate manager as well. Promised to reply within a certain date/time and never replied even after repeated reminders. Probably you could try calling him up and try your luck. I moved on to better things and never looked back

I have wondered about this myself for awhile. I used to make a LOT of commissions from CJ and over the past few months my leads and sales have dropped considerably even though my traffic has remained either the same or increased.
Overall I have always liked CJ and would rate them one o the best. Im not going to say that my leads/sales arent being tracked properly as I havent done any testing yet. But I have been concerned about this issue for a few months now.

Do you guys think this is really happening or is it the holiday effect? As a merchant I believe during the holidays if your product(s) are not gift material then you will suffer.
Can this be the reason for the drop in leads and sales?

I have problems with CJ too... they wont admit that they have serious tracking problems but many publishers know that they do. 
When you generate good traffic (say 2000 clicks per day) for a given offer your average earning per click should come about about the same, as they do on all other networks I use. On CJ it fluctuates wildly.
For example, one program I was promoting recently would jump from an average of 9 cent per click to 0 cents per click. Or to put it in percentages, it would go from 7% conversion to 0% conversion from one day to the next.
The only reason I use CJ is because a lot of the merchants they have are not signed up with any other affiliate network. I believe they have become so big they just dont care. They take us for granted. |

interesting..Im a complete newbe and joined cj. I made a few sales within days. But i would hope they dont sucker you in with a few just to get you to promote.
