Post subject: Hosting question.

I've decided to make my first foray into the affiliate/adsense world by creating my own website. I know almost nothing about building a website other than a little html I've picked up from doing ebay auctions.
I figured I will need to get hands-on eventually so I might as well tough it out from the begining. If it proves too much, I will probably go to SBI.
Well anyway, here's the question. My hosting service is reliable and customer support seems ok to me. I pay $60.00 a year for 100 gb of traffic and 5000 mb of space. Is this enough for a decent site?
I understand the concept of traffic and bandwidth but don't have any idea how much is needed.
Thanks!!! _________________ PM me to get $25 free for setting up an ING savings account with no minimum deposit. |

That's plenty If you're opening a normal site. More than likely you won't come anywhere near those limits.
However, If you plan to share a lot of videos or large files on your website, you may need to get more bandwith.

Sonds like a great service. I don't think traffic will be a problem. If traffic becomes a problem the means your site is kicking butt and that's a good thing. _________________ Great Free Home Business !

I assume that 100GB of bandwidth is per month?
If so, you should be good for awhile. One of my sites gets almost 20k unique visitors a month, and it only runs about 2gb a month in bandwidth (mostly text, minimal graphics). _________________ Eric D. Burdo
