Post subject: Which CJ webhost is the best?
|
|
|
There's quite a number of webhosts at Commission Junction. Have searched through various forums and read good/bad reviews about many of them.
We were looking for a host which allowed us to use 5 domain names on one package.
I was wondering what the experience here has been of Lunarpages, Globat, PowWeb, Jumpline and the others? They all seem to offer great levels of service. I'm not worried about cost - don't mind paying $3 or $5 a month extra for fantastic service.
What has been uptime been like? How promptly do they respond to emails?
Particularly important to us is telephone support and the customer support should not be outsourced.
Thanks very much _________________ Nadeem

Hello Azam;
We use several of the hosting companies from CJ for our own network of sites, as well as to review the companies for our own hosting related review and comparison site - www.web-site-hosting-comparison.com.
We're going to be releasing our study in the next few weeks, but for now, we'll say that BlueHost has come out as our favorite.
- Price is good. Functionality and usability are very friendly, and customer service was excellent.
Also, they pay very well if you ever decide to become an affiliate. Affiliate support is good as well.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for that. Great-looking site you get there. Only wish your reviews were more detailed: 5 lines is not sufficient. Good luck
Which host other than Bluehost did you like the look of? Most of the hosts are pretty similar so it's hard to differentiate between them. Thanks. _________________ Nadeem

Hey Nadeem;
Thanks for the review suggestion - it's part of what we'll be introducing in the next few days...
We found 1&1 to be OK, but customer service was slow, and functionality was limited (stats were limited). PowWeb and iPowerWeb are OK too - but BlueHost seemed to take all categories...
Another site not listed there - we're not an affiliate of through CJ - is www.korax.net - we use them for lots of stuff as well. Great service.
Let me know which one you choose - send us a review!

Lexa,
You fail to say whether these are CJ sites or not. Please answer the ORIGINAL question or start your own topic. More detail is required to justify the URLs which should otherwise be in your signature file.

Hi,
It's my simple review regarding Web Hosting.
BlueHost.com is ultimately hot now a days. Check their three month EPC in CJ (last 7-Day EPC also) and also their rankings and reviews in Alexa.com
They offer 4000 MB Web space, 100 GB/month Bandwidth
Free Setup + Free Domain
You can host upto 6 sites (good offer if you have more than 1 site)
They have Toll free numbers for 24/7 customer service. Most of the times I don't find their live chat help online though.
Good news is, anyone can have access to most of the Toll Free numbers from anywhere in the World through Skype. It's an awesome tool. Find more from their website www.skype.com
Sorry for long writing. I'm just a newbie but wrote a long. ) ........
Best of luck with your search for a better (if not best) web hosting. |

iPowerWeb gets my vote.
I have had tremendous response from these guys for support issues. Quick turnaround and follow through. Price appears to be mid-level.
