To give you an idea of what your site might be worth, Weathyblogger.com sold for $2000. It generated 90% of its income from adsense and made $50-$250 a month with 25,000 visitors.

Maybe I'm not reading this right, but 75,000 page views per month (which is the number given in the Sitepoint forum) by 25,000 visitors, generating only $250/month, sounds pretty low to me. Is that how others would read this? It seems like an awful lot of traffic with a pretty poor income.

for 25k visits it sure is doing v bad with adsense
I hav a blog(fairly new) which does only 20 visitors/day with 30 page views it's doing more than 1$ to me lol..

It's also a matter of the subject area. Let me just say that I would have jumped at the opportunity to buy that blog if I had found out about it in time. For $2000 for 25,000 visitors/75,000 pageviews a month I could have turned that to at least $1,000 a month just on adsense. That site was seriously underpriced. _________________ Search With Blingo Google and Win Prizes

That's very low income. I have a site on a rather mundane subject with about 7500 visitors a month that does US $1500-$2000 a month in AdSense. If only I had 25K visitors a month... _________________ "Just remember - whereever you go, there you are!"
Thanks for the link guys. I'll happily admit that I have lots to learn about online advertising. We considered WB a success when it broke 100$/month, since we barely even put 5 hours a week into it.
If you guys could make mad money on 75K visitors per month, I'd love to see what you could do with some of my other sites that are approaching 1M+ visitors per month...
In fact, if anyone is serious about being able to make serious money off of content-focused blogs, drop me a line (jeremy@ensight.org). We're starting a blogging network soon (existing blogs in the network are pulling in 15M visitors per month, and only making 20K ish), and we'd be happy to pay 25-40% commission.
Either way, thanks for the link. It's really good to know I don't know everything
