The above site sold for $379,000.00 on eBay. Not too shabby.
He was generating crazy money from ClickBank and Google Adsense...
Check out his stats before he takes the images down. This may spark some ideas!!!!
And no... He won't disclose the site name. I've tried!
The item is now closed.
Stunning!
[I've edited the L-O-N-G eBay link because it was messing up the page layout. It should still work. Allan Gardyne, Admin.] _________________

I gotta wonder about a guy selling a site making 500K a year for less than one year's receipts. Especially if the site is practically on auto-pilot as he states. If he truely needed the money for this new project, why not get someone to give him the 379K it sold for and promise them a 30% or even 40% return over two years and use his auto-piloted current business to guarantee he could pay them back. This would allow him a half million a year to fall back on or to use as additional funds in the new venture if it's needed.
Maybe I'm wrong, but something just doesn't smell right to me.

Of course there is something fishy here!!
Whoever bought it, lost close to 400k and mind you, whoever
can buy a site over the net for 400k must be playing in millions!
For us even $400 is huge, but obvisouly for some people even 400k
is peanuts!
Shrugs!

Just in case anyone doesn't know...
When you get to the eBay page, click on the WOW graphic to read all the details about the site.
Triton, I removed all the bold from your message. There's no need for it. _________________ Allan Gardyne

You said this in your first post. so I just pointed out that bidding is not over yet.
I talked about the Auction. It got relisted cuz there was a fake bidding on it.
now they have an extra Buy now button at 379K$ at lower price
read this on that ebay page, it's in Bold print.
| Quote: | | Note: Re-listed due to fake bidder. Bidders will now be required to submit their best offers instead of bidding normally. The buy-it-now has been lowered to $379K for a quick sale. |
hmm allan.. the link didnt' posed any layout problem for me, I remember.

Who's Alan?
When someone posts very long links on the forum, the width of the main column widens to accommodate the link. If you're using a 17 inch screen, the layout might still look OK. If you're on a laptop with a 15 inch screen, part of the page can disappear. So it's best to use BBCode when posting long links. That keeps things tidy. _________________ Allan Gardyne

Yup, takes us to the end of the page, where the guy has mentioned his
financial stats, never mentioned the actuall URL to the site.
That is what I meant, no URL.
Triton.
Ps: Wonder how much Allan's site will go for ever thought about
selling it LOL! _________________

Kellyandsummer were posting on the Warrior forums yesterday, as everyone there was raking their brain trying to figure out what their website is. They're a young couple thou, in their mid-20's, which is nice to here, considering I'm in my early 20's. _________________ Free Software builds pages of content over time! - Claim it here

I know everyone is trying to find out the url of this site that is being sold, and I'm sure it's for "purely curiosity value only" !!!!!
If you would actually do some research you get a good idea of the type of site/s they operate.
For a start look at the feedback history in ebay from the buyers and sellers, that should give you a clue. Also type the ebay user name into google and have a good read of the results.
I personally am going to spend my time trying to develop my own site, rather thatn chasing somebody else's shadow.
They built or developed a website, made money from it. I think all that needs to be said is congratulations, and good luck on your next venture.
If I have any questions or require some advice for my own project I would hope that they would be ready to offer it as other people clearly have helped them.
No lets move on. _________________ Check out my blog. Just started it, and testing the water to see how it goes.
