Hi,
I have read many toturials here, and I think it's definetly clear that I have to work on a site with quality articles and a site which is about something that interests me. I'm really into computer/internet stuff and thinking to start a site with exclusive photo's (for people who work with photo edit programs i.e. adobe) and logo's/headers/buttons for inexperienced people who'd like to build their own website. On this site I'd try to sell software, webtemplates, webhosts, and maybe computer hardware. But my biggest fear is that I will fail because of the large amount of succesful sites in the webdesign/computer scene.
I'd really appreciate your advice on this, I'm a 18 year old student from Holland and a income of 300$ a month would do it for me.
Thanks in advance,
Ramin |

One suggestion for working in such a crowded market would be to either find a niche (non-english site, sites for particular group: bands etc) or really showcase what you offer by giving free basic logos and try and get the web diesign work. Becoming an expert on some forums can be another way of creating a name for yourself.
I think doing the general article submissions and SEO tricks would not work as well since you have so much established competition.
Good luck. _________________ Andy Murray

One thing about over-crowded markets: they tend to have a very large pool of advertisers, so Adsense can be an option and viable way to make $300/infinite a month.
Having said that, if you have your own unique style and way of looking at things in the marketplace, you could find yourself with a highly successful site.
Build out your site and then post in Photoshop/Adobe forums and try to build awareness in that industry. Once you have some big namers see what you can do, they'll refernece your site via a blog, article or tutorial you've done and your site will start getting more exposure.
Unique content is going to be what sets you apart. Having unique tutorials as well. It is doable, but not without some hard work. _________________ 2009 Insider Secrets

Offering Logos for Links is an excellent way to market your new site. I would go to some of the major online forums and bloggers and see if you can get a decent amount of participants. _________________ 2009 Insider Secrets
