I'm wondering since the banning of JM on G if his linking strategy really matters anymore. A big part of his method was to give your product pages importance by having 300+ plus pages with links pointing to only those pages. I'm definitley not going to do exactly that, I don't want them to appear as doorway pages but I would still like to give those pages as much link boost as possible.
So here are my questions:
1) do many pages pointing at a few pages still boost those few pages?
2) how many links per page can you have that point outside your site and still give boost to those few pages?

Hi,
0) JM seems to interlink his articles nowadays. I do too. Other posts in this section show favourable results as well for crosslinking articles with each other in a natural manner.
1)My experience is that many pages pointing to one page generally helps, but not necessarily always increases PR for that page. I see instances in my sites where only the homepage links into a (sitemap)-page and that page (which isn't even on topic: it's an index) has a higher PR than the homepage (to which which hundreds of articles and external sites point).
2)If you mean boosting pages outside your site; it's generally thought it's less than 20 outgoing links per page before you dilute too much.. _________________ Gnoes
