I wonder if it makes any difference whether the graphic or photo is actually relevant to the ad.
Seems like it would be more effective if they complemented each other... but maybe it's just the "eye candy" effect so it doesn't matter? _________________ Bonnie

7-fold increases in a couple of days? Wow, I better get going on this!
For those who don't want to register at WMW to read the forums, basically, people have been reporting immediate results with multiple times increases on their CTR.
My take on what ASA says is that using pics in itself is not against policies but you can't directly encourage clicking for the sake of clicking. It's gray, I know, but an arrow image pointing to the ads may not be ok while a pic of a smiling young woman on top of an ad seems to be ok, even if unrelated. _________________ Search With Blingo Google and Win Prizes

I wonder if it would be ok to use some of your own affiliate's banners as the images above adsense to increase the clickthroughs? _________________ Everything Niagara Falls Casinos, Water Parks, Attractions and Natural Wonders. Visit one of the most popular travel destinations in the world. |

Hi,
I think it is ok, but i would not recommend it,
this gives the visitor two options to click... and confuses. Images should be simple and calm. and of course on topic. _________________ Learn To Get Higher And Lasting Profits With Adsense Free Information! |

it's ok to have pictures near adsense but you should have clear, visible borders seperating the pix and the ads..

According to me the Images near AdSense has been a difficult issue. This an interesting position. Posters claiming that he / she hits an increase in the use of AdSense ads above some of the interesting position of the image. _________________ couriers UK |
