I know I could email Google, but I wanted your opinions on the following which was taken from the Adsense website:
| Quote: | Copyrighted Material
In order to avoid associations with copyright claims, website publishers may not show AdWords ads in areas such as MP3, Video, News Groups, and Image Results. However, ads can be displayed on pages with links to these items. |
What exactly does that mean? Especially the last sentence...as in links to the items themselves (legal_song.mp3) or only links to other pages with these items? Off-site pages, or just seperate pages?
It's almost looking like there is to be no Adsense on multimedia-type pages, but those are the ones in most demand - especially for my site. But if that is the case, copyright issues could be applied to almost any content on the web.
Where do you draw the line? |

Well, it confused me! LOL I would definitely contact Google and ask.
